This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sometimes my students come to school hungry or just get hungry and need something to tide them over before lunch time. It is hard to learn when your tummy is telling you that you need to eat, it is uncomfortable! My students would benefit from having a few healthy options to choose from for a snack when they need it. Just a simple snack would not only solve the hunger issue, but it would also help my students to continue engaging in their learning and be a active participate in the classroom.
