My Students

This is my 2nd year of teaching first grade. I teach at a school where a majority of my students come from low-income households. Despite their lack of resources at home, I try to give them the best I can while they are at school

My Project

We are a Title 1 school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch each day. Many of our students depend on these daily meals and some go home to little food for snacks or dinner.

These snacks will provide my students with the energy they need to focus on their schoolwork and will help ease some of their worries about going home hungry.

This project would provide a variety of individually wrapped snacks for my class to enjoy each day and would ensure that all students have something to eat to help finish our day strong!
