This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love all my students. Coming out of this Covid pandemic, they have adapted back to school, and are really resilient in getting back on track. Our schedule has the 6th graders eating early in the morning. It is a long day for them, and by the afternoon they are hungry. I provide snacks as much as I can, but money is tight and I can't do it every single day. The students buy some candy and chips in the cafeteria, but I would like to provide a more healthy alternative.
