Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are bundles of energy in themselves. They work hard and try their best, but start lacking the focus and energy as the long day wears on. We are able to provide qualifying students breakfast and lunch, but many students require another energy source later in the day to continue learning.
Many students do not have the means to bring a snack or extra food from home.
The snacks from this project will help students fulfill their physiological needs so that learning can receive the most energy and attention to finish the day strong!
