My Project

Students in our building receive breakfast and lunch at no cost due to the overwhelming majority of our families qualifying. Since we eat lunch so late in the day, I have found that a mid morning snack helps to keep the students bodies fueled to ensure they are able to focus on their learning.

Unfortunately, not every child has a daily snack.

I keep a snack bin in our room for the students that forget or can't bring in their own snack. I have had MANY generous donations from community members and even parents, but when feeding ten to fifteen of my students daily, these supplies went quick.
