Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Have you ever walked into a classroom and felt that fun energy? I guarantee that if you walked into our classroom you would immediately begin to smile and feel the energy. You will see 12 boys and 10 girls eager to learn. All 22 of them are in their 6th grade journey together. They are learning to understand that the world can be a better place if we all just help and respect one another. They love to work with each other instead of individually, which you will find the classroom a bit louder than others. I guarantee you, learning is taking place just in a higher volume. Welcome to our room we're we are one team created by 22 students and one teacher.
My Project
My students all live in a low socioeconomic area where food on the table is not taken for granted. I want to ensure that my students are properly fed so that they can be well focused. Academic success relies on students being nutritionally well balanced.
With your donation, you will help my students not only meet their nutritional needs, but also tackle their academic goals.
The snacks such as crackers, juice, and almonds will be given to the students throughout the day and at the end of the day so that they can focus during their work. Please help us on our journey to success!
