Help me give my students chips, drinks and other snacks that will allow them to stay focused in after-school tutoring. Also, keep their tummies from rumbling!
Let me introduce my students! I currently teach approximately 95 students in sixth grade. These students venture in from all areas within eastern North Carolina. They come from different social-economic backgrounds, which foster many difficulties with learning. I see some students struggle mentally, socially and financially. However, they persevere and work through all challenges faced on a daily basis.
In my classroom, I try to make my room a fun, loving learning environment for my scholars.
I do use a great deal of anchor charts to help those who can not understand verbal prompts. With anchor charts, they can visualize and use contextual clues to help understand many genres we use in English/Language Arts.
With all donations, I plan to use it to enhance our learning environment. I wish to make my students want to come and take part in learning and love school. Any donations would be appreciated and warranted. Thanks in advance! My motto:

My Project
Due to our students arriving to school so early and staying late for tutoring, your donation of snacks will be a great way to help their tummies. "Snack Attack" will help keep my 6th grade student's remain full until they return home!
Our snack time should take no more that 10 minutes and will be eaten in class, so please know that these snacks will work well.
Also, this will require minimal clean up.
