My Project
My K-1 Grade students have snack time every day. But snacks are not provided by our school and given that we are located in the arctic, access to healthy snacks is challenging for many families. Many of the students are unable to bring a healthy snack from home. Given our long day and early lunch, it’s important that the children have a snack when they are hungry so they can be their best K-1 selves all day long.
No child should ever have to feel hungry, sad, or left out because they don’t have a snack.
You will make it possible for our students to be able to pick a snack of their choice when they need one. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
