My Students

Practice is how we learn. "Mistakes are proof you are trying!" I try to instill these truths into my students. I want every student to feel secure in trying their best and knowing mistakes are proof they are trying. We learn from practice and our mistakes.

Our school district has a technology-rich and student-minded environment.

You will find students daily throughout the school and classrooms (including my classroom) on computers, laptops, tablets, and other technology devices working on projects or supplementing the lessons through various apps. All students are successful in this environment as it is a great means of embracing differentiating learning.

My Project

Students will use the iPad Mini to enrich math skills through fun math apps, check work using the QR reader, and access wi-fi to play math games that teachers have set up with math skills review or work on a Project Based Learning Activity. All students can be successful with an iPad Mini.

I am trying to stock my classroom with as many devices as possible to ensure students are getting as much opportunity as needed to practice skills and we learn by practice.

I must reach each student by ensuring differentiating learning is going in my classroom. What a great way of doing just that...the iPad Mini.
