My students need to create an atmosphere of professionalism. Creating a photo studio for our classroom would definitely heighten their experience as photographers. There are so many projects that can benefit our school community through photos.

My Students

My students are a bunch of creative middle school children who are figuring out how to leave their mark on the world. These specific children have chosen to use photography as an outlet to share their views.

In addition, they are a diverse group from various backgrounds and work incredibly well together despite coming from different cultures and socioeconomic classes.

I am fortunate to be a part of their creative experience and look forward to providing them with proper supplies!

My Project

Students learn best when learning hands on. It is important to create an atmosphere of professionalism and responsibility. By having lights, a backdrop, and a printer to create an on-site studio to practice their skills, students will understand how professional photographers can impact their community.

We plan on taking pictures of special events, student's birthdays and holidays.

Also, we will create a studio where students from other classes can come in and work as models, architects and editors. Having an arts program is very important in middle school. It allows the children to showcase their creativity and talent through the use of photography. Printing projects will be a bonus!
