My Students
My students are hardworking and creative individuals who use technology to solve problems. As students of Programming and Web Development, they learn how to create software solutions to problems in the school and community. In addition to learning to build web sites and write software, our students provide technology support to teachers in the school.
Resources provided by generous donors allow us to create interesting and innovative projects that simulate real world development environments.
Our students go on to work or advanced study in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Game Development. They have vision and purpose but need the tools to succeed.
My Project
Using the two requested Smart TVs to display Kan-ban workflows in our classrooms will allow our students to learn and manage successful workplace methodology in our classrooms. This will improve efficiency and follow through for technology support and development requests in our school.
Our students will use this workflow to distribute projects between technicians and teachers and to monitor their progress in real-time.
We will use multiple displays to coordinate workflows between classrooms and teachers. Traffic managers will maintain the Kan-ban tasks, and technicians will update the board using their technician tablets while on-site. This solution will improve efficiency and communication between technicians, teachers, and staff.
