Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are brilliant, curious and love, love school. So many of my kids tell me they want to stay longer and that they love to learn and prove their mastery of subjects. I have tried my best to provide them with all the support and resources I can afford and I have poured a lot of my own funds into giving them all that they truly deserve!
Most of my kids come from low income homes so the resources I have in class, are the only ones they ever get to interact with.
They are also truly grateful for everything they are given and know to be thankful of all they receive. They have given me so much love and happiness this year with their positive attitudes and drive to learn that I want to give them all I can. They truly are a special class.
My Project
With smart tablets, I will be able to engage and enrich my students' learning by reinforcing concepts and connecting them to the real world through the use of videos, apps and online libraries.
This project is all about connecting my students to the biggest learning resource in the world.
Because the internet has become such a large place with so many forms of information, my students would only benefit by being able to access it.
I know that even though my students are very responsible and respectful for their young age, the tablets may go through some wear and tear. Since I hope to use these tablets for all subject areas, the protective screens and cases are included in this project, so that the tablets may be used for a long while.
My students have all the potential in the world to do great things, and I only wish to see that happen. I know that with the addition of a new world of resources, there won't anything out of their reach.
