Help me give my students seating that works for them! Students have thrived in my classroom because they are able to pick a spot that works for them and helps them concentrate!
My students come from a rural community, with a school system that consists of 2 elementary schools, middle school, and high school. It is a large school district that is culturally diverse. My students come from all sorts of different backgrounds, each having their own unique educational experiences before entering my 2nd-grade classroom.
My students are active at their age and get excited to come to school.
We are often moving throughout the classroom, interacting and engaging with peers, group work, partner work, etc. They practice their reading and math skills and deepen their interest and knowledge in science, social studies, and digital citizenship. My students are always eager to learn new things and try new things in order to grow as a 2nd-grade student!

Smart spots are something I have put into action this year, and the students have been thriving! Now, I'm ready to build my flexible seating classroom even more for my incoming students!
