My Students

My first-grade students are curious, creative, and full of energy! These students are all brand new to our school and bringing mixed interests, experiences, abilities, and goals from their previous schools. I am excited to learn and grow along with them.

My students love to learn and are excited about what the new school year will bring.

In my classroom, I incorporate various learning strategies, group work, flexible seating, and different options to learn. The needs of all these incoming students will vary and I would love to empower every child to be champions of their own success.

My Project

Think back when you were in elementary school. Did you ever feel antsy in your chair? Were you were one of those students that just needed to move? Nowadays, there are flexible seating options in the classroom that allows students to have choice and control over their environment. With flexible seating, students are able to choose where they work.

Wobble chairs allows students to wobble and rock which promotes attention and engagement in the classroom.

Not only that but it increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow, and core strength. These additional seating options make more effective learning choices.

The wobble stools will be extremely beneficial for my wiggly first-graders!
