ALS is a choice school with an energetic group of music students. Our school is small, but over 70% of the 5-8 students are enrolled in band, orchestra, and choir.
Our students learn independently, composing and performing music at a variety of levels.
They are encouraged to bring their own unique perspective on the material, and these perspectives elevate and inspire the group.
My students and I love exploring different musical genres, which makes for some very diverse concerts!
Our students are fortunate to learn in an individualized environment, but we are running out of space as our music program grows. As you can see, our storage space is completely filled up with instruments!
Adding additional storage will open up more parts of the room for learning.
We utilize every part of the room in our classes. This storage will get auxiliary percussion instruments off the floor and allow our drummers more space to breathe, as well as solve space issues with our large low brass instruments. To accommodate our growing program, we need as much space as possible!
