Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this project, I am requesting various items that will be used in my "prize box." One management system I use in my classroom is ticket-based. I give out tickets when students turn in work on time, get a class compliment, are on task and working, and participate in discussions. Basically, this ticket system helps reinforce responsibility and engagement in all subjects on a daily basis. They then can take the tickets and "shop" in our class store on Fridays. This helps to teach responsibility and promotes engagement. I have found that students REALLY love this, and it is an amazing incentive program.

My students can't afford to buy these items (fun pencils, keychains, Lego kits etc) so they really appreciate it when they earn them.

I have requested prizes, that will "cost" various amounts and tickets. Thank you for considering donating to this project.
