Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are motivated and respectful.

We have a strong community based on trust and caring.

All of my students speak two languages but have English as a second language. We work very hard at reading and writing in English.

My Project

My students are learning American History and small groups encourage them to share what they are learning. This order includes comfortable seating and some supplies that aren't found elsewhere for their projects.

We will use the chairs in several ways.

The students can separate from their peers when needed and collaborate with each other too. TpT gift cards will help me buy the supplies for creative project ideas and help me differentiate for each leveled group.

Morning meetings are conducted on the carpet and will become more frequent and more comfortable, after the gift of floor chairs.
