Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are very eager to learn but take a little bit of a longer time to do so. By supporting my students with this blessing I will have an area in my room to work with them to make sure that they all learn at their own pace. Every student in my class gets a little time just me and them and this table can help me have an area just for that time. My students would benefit so much from this table.

My Project

During the school year I will be working with small groups of students to make sure that they are learning what I am teaching. Having an area away from the rest of the students will help my small groups with distractions, also with their confidence. During weekly assessments I will use this table to help my special needs students that require a small group accommodation. By working with small groups I am able to help all of my students show growth by doing RTI or extra practice work together. This table will also be available for any of my students to work together with the guidance of me, their teacher, helping them to learn all of the things 4th grade has to offer them.
