Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a dual language classroom and I need to provide support to my students in the language they are struggling or in math. Working with students in small groups gives them the extra support they need to make them successful in class.
I have a great group of students who are enthusiastic about learning and learning and especially learning in two languages.
I work in a title one school with most of our students receiving free or reduced lunch nut this does not keep our students from wanting to learn and trying their best.
My Project
Having this easel in my class will be used help students who are struggling in some concept and it will allow me to help these students master the concept so that they are not left behind and will be able to succeed in class. My students need to be able to master both English and Spanish as well as all the subjects in class.
This donation will improve my classroom by helping my students be more successful.
It will improve my students' lives by making my students successful therefore giving them the confidence they need . In the long run they will be successful because they will have the confidence and motivation to continue striving and therefore also become bi-literate which will in turn make them successful in the work world.
