My Project

Thank you for taking the time to read about our project. I am looking to help my small group instruction be more hands-on and really enhance student learning.

We are needing Elkonin boxes and ten frames to help in reading and math instruction during my small groups.

We will use the Elkonin boxes to help learn to blend and segment sounds in words. This is crucial for the beginning reading stages. They will take the knowledge from these activities to read basic CVC words and more! The tens frames will help students see numbers and make sense of what they are as we begin to add and subtract.
