My students need one Teaching Table, one Store & Charge Tablet Station, one Merry Garden Kids Wooden Picnic Bench, Reusable Write & Wipe Pockets, and Magnetic Display Shelves.
My kinder kiddos are curious, imaginative, and eager to learn something new each day.
My students are both military dependents and local residents of Hawaii.
They are a diverse group of students who come from many cultures and have different learning styles. They are all eager to learn and grow. As their teacher, I continue to strive to create a learning environment where each student reaches success through his/her own individual determination.
My Project
My students need a kidney table as I manage daily small groups during language arts. In my classroom, small groups are formed as I provide systematic, explicit instruction in hopes to meet the needs of my students. During small group time, students are academically engaged in meaningful activities that reinforce learning.
In addition to a kidney table, my students need reusable Write & Wipe pockets as a useful tool when they interact and engage during lessons. Magnetic display shelves and clips are also needed to display student work in the classroom. I believe that a classroom that displays the work of children sends a message that their work is important and meaningful.
While I work with a small group, the rest of the class will be engaging in reading centers. One center is a classroom library. My students need a reading bench to to create a welcoming and enjoyable reading place.
Donations to this project will enhance my classroom by providing the children with greater opportunities to make the most of small group time.
The kidney table and other materials requested will make for a wonderful small group instruction area in the classroom. As their teacher, my goal is to help the students find success through his/her own individual determination!
