My Students

I am an inclusion teacher in a low socioeconomic status neighborhood. My students are amazing and grateful for everything that they have. The class I have this year is particularly special to me because I looped with them from second grade.

I want to continue to provide them with opportunities that they may not otherwise have!

I have students on all different levels. Some need enrichment activities to continue to grow and other who have special needs require more support and attention. This table will help all my students!

My Project

I have all different types of learners in my classroom. They are each their own individual and learn differently. I find myself sitting on the floor with them or standing over their work.

Having a table where I can sit and have the students around me will support the small group work I do!

I will be able to sit with 3-4 students and provide them with the attention and instruction they need to succeed!

This is the first year I have a large enough classroom to fit a table like this.

I have imagined having something like this and how things like guided reading would be so much more beneficial where I can monitor all students!
