My Students

My students love to learn. They are kind hearted, driven, and energetic learners. Everyone is a reader, a writer, a scientist, a mathematician and an explorer! Some students just have not found their favorite book yet!" Small group time is an important part of our day. Through small group instruction and work time, we ensure that each student is positively impacted every day. My students develop a deep and personal understanding that everyone can be successful with the tools that are right for them and their individual learning needs.

My Project

We know that students learn new concepts in their own way and at their own pace. Having a dedicated small group instructional space with a whiteboard and stools for my students will allow me to better meet their individualized learning needs.

When we meet together in a small group to learn and work, students feel valued and know that their needs are most important.

We will use this magnetic whiteboard to solve math problems and discuss our thinking as we examine our work. Students will also use magnetic manipulatives and letters to enhance their understanding through concrete, hands-on learning opportunities.
