My students need See and Store Book pouches, for leveled readers that are sent home. This will allow for a school-home connection and will keep their growing library at home with books they can read.
Primary students need time to practice, practice and practice some more. Reading is such a great time for them to explore and gain confidence to build strong literacy skills. I am lucky to teach Kindergarten through 2nd grade students in a wonderful school. My students need reinforcement from their families to continue to practice reading at school that can also be carried on at home. This project will enable my students to have a school home connection that they need.
My Project
My young students are learning how to read. Early childhood literacy is the key foundation to all learning. My primary students work so hard to become readers. Having special bags to hold their leveled readers will allow for a safe spot to continue to build their at home library filled with books that they can read.
I often work in small groups to ensure my students are getting the attention that they thrive on.
Having partitions while working in a small group setting will give them the privacy they need to give me their full attention and allow for them to focus and stay on task as needed.
