Help me give my students and families an amazing experience with Math! The goal is for students and families to build math skills together at school and at home!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are inquisitive explorers of their surroundings! They are always asking questions and conducting experiments in the world around them. They come up with the most innovative ideas and I can just see that the future is going to better because of them! Our Preschool program students can and do come from all over the city. We have a wonderfully diverse classroom with students from various backgrounds and countries such as Poland, and Albania! We are all able to learn from each other because of all the life experiences that we can share with one another.
We have lively and inspiring students so there is never a dull moment in our room!

My Project
The goal this year is to develop a love and integration of Math in the classroom and at home!
We are a Full Day program which allows us more time to focus on small group activities with the teacher as well as independently.
The Instant Learning Sets and many of the other sets will be a great asset to our small groups. We can introduce them and then let the students work independently or in groups to maximize their learning. The Family Engagement packs will ensure that the learning is continued at home and families are aware of what learning is taking place in the classroom!
We want to encourage our students as well as the families to be involved together in the learning process to maximize their full potential.
