My students are creative and compassionate about learning. They are energetic each day in the classroom. Our classroom is busy and expectations are high for our students. They are willing to meet each expectation on a daily basis.
Hands on activities and engaging lessons inspire my students to cooperate and learn.
All 22 of my students work well with hands on resources. I want each activity that they complete to be engaging to make sure they are learning. They are eager learners!
My Project
The sketch boards will allow my students to add excitement, engagement and fun to our English language arts and writing instruction each day. My students will be able to use the boards in their spelling/ELA centers each day. The boards will also be used for independent spelling time when the teacher calls out words.
Each student will have their own board to raise and show as I call out the word.
I will be able to use the boards as an informal assessment. This will also meet the needs of my kinesthetic and visual learners. Sketch boards are great hands on learning tools for the classroom!
