Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of our students are currently learning at home, but very few actually have the supplies to do so. We have given out Chromebooks to each student, but they do not have things like paper, pencils, and other art supplies. For an elementary-aged student, the Chromebook is just not adequate. They need hands-on materials to learn.

My Project

Our students are currently all engaging in learning at home, but, sadly they do not have the supplies that they need. We would like to deliver a sketchbook and pack of colored pencils to each student so that they are able to really engage with distance learning.

It isn't developmentally appropriate for elementary students to only engage with a computer in order to learn.

They need writing utensils to put in their hands, they need space to be creative, and they need hands-on learning tools. Please help our students learn!
