Despite having fewer resources, my students are incredibly savvy when it comes to using technology. My students are creative and are eager to use various programs. Adding a custom drawing component will allow them to transfer their artistic abilities to a digital medium.
We are from a very small rural school.
Our graduating class is usually around 30 students. Even though our school is small, we have big aspirations and are eager to exercise our creative minds. Our technological tools are somewhat limited, but we can assure you that a little equipment can go a very long way because of our small class sizes.
My Project
This equipment extends graphic design lessons beyond manipulating photographs. By using the two drawing tablets, students will be able to transfer their abilities to a digital format by using programs such as Adobe Photoshop. These devices will allow students to gain a hands-on perspective when working within digital editing software. Accordingly, these tools may provide ways to accommodate students who excel in the arts but may struggle with technology. They are eager to combine the tools to create custom art pieces that extend beyond what they can currently do with a normal computer mouse.
Due to our extremely small class sizes (ranging from 14-25 students), we have opportunities to work closely with our instructor and peers to create quality projects.
We are talented, creative students, and we are excited to be exploring technology. Please support our endeavors and help us realize our ideas by supplying the basic tools we need to continue creating and consuming computer-based projects. We will gladly share our creations with you to show our gratitude.
