Sketchbooks Needed For Newly Formed Drawing Club!

My students need Sketch and Note Bundle - 4 in. x 6 in. - Redbooks for a new "Drawing Club" that 3 of my kids have organized.

My Students

Our school is known as the "Little School with a Big Heart." We may be smaller than most, but we have created a community of caring, giving, and hard-working learners.

My students make up a very diverse class!

49% of my students are English Learners who have come from Hispanic and/or Asian countries and more than half of my students are low income. Even with those obstacles, all of my students have come together to create a learning environment that is safe and all kids come ready to learn everyday!

We have created a classroom where mistakes are welcome and no answer or question is inappropriate. We work together to solve problems and challenge each other daily. Our class is a fun place to be.

My Project

3 of my students have a passion for drawing but often complain that there was no time during school to draw and/or see what their friends were doing. So they've come up with the idea to start a club and asked if I could help them with it. Their pitch was very persuasive and the club is already up to 55 members.

We wanted to keep the Drawing Club "free" for all members, based on the socio-economic base of our school so all students who wanted to join could do so!

Therefore, I told my 3 "administrator" students that I would look for donations elsewhere. Therefore, I am looking to order 60 Sketch and Note Bundle - 4 in. x 6 in. - Red.

Our club meets every Monday for an hour during their lunch and recess time. Kids love just having time to draw and talk about their drawings with other students. They also love getting ideas from others as well as teaching others new techniques. It has been amazing to watch this new little community form!
