Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Physiology students need a skeleton to be able to identify and learn the different bones of the body. The skeletons that we have are incomplete and are missing major parts. My Biology students would also benefit from a skeleton when studying evolution.
My students come from different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
They attend a high school in California and are all eager to learn new concepts; most attend the magnet school. Students enrolled in Physiology are interested in the medical field and are planning in majoring in some areas of the field such as nursing, physical therapy or medicine.
My Project
My students are in need of a skeleton to help them memorize and identify the different bones of the human body. The human body has 206 bones so seeing a skeleton will definitely enhance students understanding and help them retain the names and location of different bones.

The skeleton would also help my Biology students while studying evolution.
