My students need Expo markers for instruction, ink and copy paper for class/homework, Time for Kids magazines to keep informed, and facial tissue and sanitizer for blocking germs!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My fifth grade students are curious and bright, ready to explore the world in which they live. They are motivated to discover information that will provide answers to their inquiries. I want to provide resources for this great educational discovery process to unfold!
My students come from an extremely low-socioeconomic setting in the south, where basic school supplies are often difficult for parents to provide.
Through the support of generous and caring donors, my classroom will be a busy hive of exploration and learning with the resources provided.
My eager scholars deserve the opportunity to learn about their world, dream about careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The sky is the limit, and I want to challenge my brilliant students to reach for the stars!
My Project
A classroom ready to welcome super-active fifth graders will need expo markers, ink and copy paper for instruction, Time for Kids magazines will keep them informed on planet-wide updates, and facial tissue and sanitizer for blocking germs! From projects to simple paper cuts, the bandaids will cover and comfort hurting students. New vocabulary words will be discovered in the dictionaries and prepare students to utilize their expanded vocabulary! These supplies will assist eager students and provide materials for discovery. As school doors open for a new school year, our 5th grade classroom will be stocked and ready for innovative exploration!
