Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are truly an amazing group that are eager to learn. I feel that they absolutely love learning, and strive to do their best daily. However, their level of learning and individual learning struggles make it difficult for them to achieve their learning goal. In our classroom, a variety of learning strategies, and learning options are incorporated into our daily routine to ensure that each student's needs are met because it is imperative that they have the best educational experience that they can imagine. It is truly a blessing to engage and interact with such an amazing group of students.

My Project

I want my students to have desks to promote and encourage cooperative learning.

With these sturdy individual desks, my students will be able to sit within close proximity to work together in small groups.

These desk will help me create an environment in which the students know and expect to learn together. These table top desks will help me when grouping students, and will allow students to move from group to group with ease. Another positive aspect of having these desk is the drawer located under the top, this will help my students stay organized. These desks will allow the students to put things away in designated areas. The main focus of this project is to promote a cooperative learning environment, and with these desks, I feel that my students will grow into team players that work together to accomplish many things, now and in the future.
