My Students

We live in a rural area and more than half of all of my students qualify for free or reduced lunches.

My students attend a VPI Pre School program for at-risk students in a public school.

Our is also a school-wide Title I. There learning styles vary from student to student. We need classroom STEM materials and tables and chairs that are appropriately sized for their little bodies and minds.

Many of our families come from low-income, one parent homes. Some even reside with their grandparents or are considered homeless.

These kids are crazy for learning! These students are diverse learners and are eager to participate in engaging educational exciting learning activities. We need to provide the materials and instruction for them!

My Project

My terrific preschool students need appropriately sized tables to sit together for our group work and group learning time. We need these tables to fit in our classroom space to be able to accommodate 20 students and provide optimal learning experiences.

Preschool students need opportunities to build self regulation and collaborative skills while completing their seat work activities.

We need 2 - 60'' Flower Oak Thermal Laminate Activity Tables with Adjustable Short Legs and 2 - Flash Furniture 30''W x 72''L Rectangular Oak Thermal Laminate Activity Table with Adjustable Legs.

If you help to support this project you will be providing these tables to give our classroom just the right table sitting space for these kiddos to be able to work together as they learn!! We will really be Sitting To Learn!!
