My Students

Our school is a small rural school.

I have twenty-one students in my class this year. About 1/3 of my students are on free or reduced lunch. Our school has a family atmosphere and good parental support. Funding has been a problem the last several years and we are only allowed to buy the essential materials.

My Project

The jump start math curriculum will give my students a workbook and lessons aligned to the common core. This series will engage and challenge students at all levels in math. Students can demonstrate their mastery of math concepts with the jump math curriculum.

Everyone uses math skills every day in their life.

Students need to be engaged and challenged daily so that they can master math concepts. The jump start math curriculum would make a huge difference in how my students apply the knowledge they learn in math.
