This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our day is very busy. I was able to attend a writing conference to help writing be more exciting in my classroom. I want my students to develop a love of writing.
"It's none of their business that you have to learn to write. Let them think you were born that way." Ernest Hemingway
I teach in a school that is a Title One School.
We are a little school in a district that is struggling. My poor students don't have physical education. We have a great school with great students. They want to learn. I want to make the subjects I teach exciting!
My Project
I will be reading these books as they learn to write. I have already set the foundation for writing, and they are very excited to begin writing. I can't find all these books in our public library. If I can find them, they are in different libraries and it takes three weeks for the book to be shipped to my local library.
It will help me to deliver the material in a timely manner.
I will be able to use the materials I learn in the nine series of classes I took over the last year. I am hoping to inspire future writers and give them a solid foundation .
