This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very special to me. They come from San Pedro, a very diverse and multicultural community. I have students that live in housing projects. I also have students that are straight A 4.0 GPA.

I am part of the Honors team and we are looking to inspire our students with a Social Justice curriculum.

I am amazed by the diversity of my school. Students of many cultures come thru the classroom doors. We are a Title I school.

My Project

My students excel on one to one devices.

We need to laptops for each and every student.

Simulations will be played, graphic design and digital storytelling, spoken word and slam poetry, close reading, google classroom and much more is what these laptops will be used for.

I am amazed at how even the most challenging student will get right to work when given a laptop in my classroom.

Students will collaborate with other students, publish their student work, edit and revise, and will learn 21st century skills.

I cannot thank you enough for your ongoing support of my classroom and my students.
