My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions!

Many of the students in my classroom are from a low- economic home, and at times have a hard time doing projects and homework due to the lack of resources at home.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and hands-on learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a class that is excited and ready to learn!

My Project

The students in my 3rd-grade classroom rotate around the classroom to complete math and reading centers after a whole group lesson. The motion stools will allow my students to sit at a small group table to complete these centers within a group setting. The math and reading centers include hands-on activities, projects while using reading and math manipulatives.

The motion stools will give my students the option to wobble while they work at a small group table that is used for both reading and math.

Students love to move while they are working, and it allows them to focus more.
