My Students

Our school is the picture of diversity in every way. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures and economic situations. My students are creative, curious, energetic and ready to learn.

When my students walk into my classroom, they know that everyone will be celebrated, encouraged, respected, engaged and challenged.

My 2nd graders deserve the best! They appreciate fun activities and all things new and exciting. My students are bright and eager to come to school each day.

My Project

Being inspired by Genius Hour, I want to give my students time to do some some project based learning about something they choose. They will use the Chain Reaction kit for inspiration to create and/or research something on their own.

To make this time new and exciting, I'd like to add some new and comfortable flexible seating.

To create a mini office of their own, I'd love to introduce lap trays so my students are able to sit comfortably in their own space.

We have been in desperate need of an iPad with the capability to record and make presentations about the projects they create. I want the students to be able to post their projects on our class website to share their projects with their parents.
