Sit, Stand Or Wobble: A Comfortable Environment To Enhance Learning
Help me give my students a comfortable and inviting learning environment by providing developmentally appropriate flexible seating including a standing desk and wobble chairs!
I have taught third grade for 27 years, and it has been a privilege! I am inspired by my students each day. They are smart, creative, and hilarious! There is never a dull moment in my third grade classroom. They challenge me to be better for them, and that is what I strive to do each and every day.
Every child is unique and brings to school his/her hopes and dreams.
They come wanting to succeed! They come wanting to understand content and make connections. They have a desire to grow academically and socially. They want to be loved by their teacher! They are eager to have a classroom where they feel motivated to learn and safe to be themselves.
My Project
Flexible seating allows for children to be comfortable in their classroom environment and therefore more engaged in their learning. When they have choice, they are more relaxed and able to focus and process information. The Kore Wobble Chairs will allow for movement while working. The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats will be wonderful for students who prefer to work on the floor. The Seville Classics Mobile Desk will help meet the needs of students who prefer to stand. The Norwood Stack Stools will provide a different seating option other than traditional chairs.
These products I hope to receive will greatly benefit my students.
The seating choices will enhance student learning and enable my students to find what works best for their learning. With the selected products, they can stand at a tall desk, sit or lay on the floor, or even wobble in a chair!
