My Students
Next school year I will be teaching 3rd grade.
I am so excited to sow into these eager growing minds.
English is a second language for many of these students. They work hard and want to be successful in and out of the classroom. They will benefit from any support a donation could offer.
My students live in a low-income area with 98% qualifying for free lunch.
Most of my students live well below poverty so their parents do not have the means to support a Parent Teacher Association. Many activities and resources are funded directly by the teachers.
These exceptional students may learn differently; however, they are high achievers that never give up. The fight in them makes it easy to advocate for them to have the best.
My Project
Area there areas you study better in? For me I know my learning environment has to be comfortable and flexible. It is no different for these tiny humans! They are busy bodies by their nature. As an educator I have learned that I actually get more instruction time when I allow them a little bit more freedom and choice as to where to sit. The only thing is that our current furniture is not as flexible and moveable as I desire they to be. Giving the option of how to sit and what to sit on will empower students and allow them to be more involved in how they learn. Also have 30 students all in desk and chairs makes for a cramped learning area.
