Our students are very diverse and come with many different backgrounds and their own individual stories! They are unique in their own ways! Many of our students also have military connections as we are a heavily populated military town! Our school is located very close to a naval base on the east coast and we have a lot of children from military families attend our school! (Yay and Thank You to our service members!)
They are highly motivated students who love to move around the room and work together to learn!
They are always ready to learn and they love every chance they get to find their own places to sit and work!
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. While we do have some seating choices, I would like to enhance and improve on what we currently use. We do not have any of the bouncy balls for seating options and I know that the students will love having them!
My students love to move around the room to learn and having bouncy chairs will add to their engagement and enhance their learning!
The product that I have selected will help my students by giving them the ability to have movement while they are sitting and learning/working on their assignments. Having the chair that holds the exercise ball will also allow them to use the balls without the balls rolling away or the kids falling off from it rolling! I am looking forward to being able to provide this seating option to the students!
I have seen how choice can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help them grow even more!
