My students need materials to enhance their studies of animal classification. I am asking for animal tracks kit, classification kit, and an animal tracks poster.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Ask any 5th grade students and the majority of them want to become a vet when they grow up. My students need to learn more about animal classification while the interest is hot!
My students attend a charter school in Arkansas.
It is located in a small, rural town. There is a main focus on science, technology, engineering, math, and art. The majority of students are African Americans. All students participate in free meals.
My Project
Strike while the iron is HOT! As mentioned earlier, most of this age group have aspirations of becoming a vet when they get older. I want to provide them with resources to use in class to gain more knowledge about animal classification. Being a vet or a zookeeper takes more than just a love for animals. I am asking for animal tracks kit, classification kit, and an animal tracks poster.
Since my students have a strong interest in animals, I need to use this interest to immerse them in animal classification.
I want to be able to give them more of an understanding of animals so they can set goals for later in life.
