Our preschool students are three, four, and five years old. They're hard working, active, and excited to learn new things. They like to play, sing songs, and listen to stories. More than half of my students are from low income households. Many of them are from single parent homes. Our school is a Title I, public, inner-city school. One hundred percent of the students receive free or reduced price lunch. Our school's resources are very limited. However, I strive to provide a supportive learning environment that has enrichment materials to foster their growth and love for learning!
My Project
Snack time has always been a part of the day that my students look forward to. It’s a time when they get to talk and laugh with each other. It’s a time when they get to take a brain break from academics and recharge. It’s a time when they get a much needed boost of energy.
Snack time is important because it supports social, emotional, and physical development.
I am requesting items such as Goldfish, Ritz Bits, and animal crackers. These items will allow me to provide my students with a healthy snack to keep them fueled for learning. Your donation to this project will make a tremendous impact in early childhood education.
