Help me give my students the basic supplies such as pencils, sharpeners, and construction paper to be able to use during their reading and language class time.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Teaching is my passion! It is not a job, but it is a calling on my life. The students are a gift that are placed in my hands daily. I am helping to shape and mold the leaders of tomorrow. My students are always aware of their importance and how much they are special. They are an important part not only in the classroom, but also in the school, and community.
The students have such opportunities in front of them daily, and they take on the challenges.
They have learned that they are a CHAMPION, and they know they are #invincible, #unbreakable, #unstoppable, and #unshakeable.
They know that they are to give their best, and do what they can do. Once they have done all they can, they seek out new adventures to take on.
My Project
The supplies needed are used on a daily basis in the fourth grade reading and language arts classroom. Each student will be challenged on a daily basis to write through the curriculum. They will have their independent practice, but also have journaling and notetaking skills to practice. In an effort to make sure this occurs they maintain an interactive notebook that is their study guide of the classroom.
The students will use each of these supplies on a daily basis to keep up with their interactive notebook and make it the most powerful, packed book of knowledge that he/she has created.
