My Students
I teach a class full of incredible, hard-working Kindergarten scholars. I work in a Title I, low income public school, and many of my scholars come from struggling backgrounds. They face a variety of challenges each and every day. Therefore, it is my ultimate goal to create a welcoming and encouraging, worry-free learning environment.
My Kindergarten scholars have a great love for learning!
They especially love reading books with their partners, writing stories to share with their friends, and challenging themselves to become better mathematicians.
We believe our kids should be given every opportunity to achieve, and are working hard to ensure safe, learning-rich environments. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
My Project
In Kindergarten, we use pencils, crayons, glue, and dry erase markers all of the time. These supplies will go in the pencil boxes I have requested and each scholar will have access to them from their desks, cutting back on disruptions and in turn providing more precious learning time. I have also requested some additional supplies, including Post-It notes and file folders to help me keep our classroom environment neat and organized.
This project will provide my scholars with the essential materials they need throughout the day!
My school does not require parents to purchase any school supplies for their children. Therefore, all of my supplies come directly out of my pocket, or projects like these. If provided with basic supplies, my scholars would be prepared for all of their reading, writing, math, science, and social studies projects. It would also cut back on any scholar anxiety and worry of not having materials when asked to start working. Please help me to get my scholars the supplies we need for a successful school year!
