Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are curious, and they have endless potential to become someone great in their future! They have given less opportunities to experience and explore the world around them due to their circumstances. My school is located in the district where majority of students come from a low-income/high poverty area. A majority of students are eligible to receive a free and reduced meal every day.

My students love coming to school, and they love to participate.

They love to grow and they want to learn. In my inclusion class, many students come with a big learning gap, and their needs are very special and different.

My Project

It would be really helpful for my students to have a flexible seating arrangement. The students will have access to stools to take them to the teacher's desk for a small group instruction, and to the tables for group assignment.

The other item is for students to use for hall passes.

The students will use them to go to the bathrooms, offices, and the library. The class set of passes help them to stay organized and structure.

These items will make a big difference. The students have to carry big chairs that cause a lot of unnecessary movement and noises. This will make students to transition from one area to another area smoothly.
