My students are at the age where learning the value of collaboration and teamwork is so important!
I want to do all I can to facilitate life-long collaboration skills.
Providing materials for my students to complete group tasks and to encourage effective collaboration is a dream! I want them to crave the chance to share what are learning. Not only will they see the greatness of their combined education, but they will become serious active learners and excited future leaders.
My Project
The items we are dreaming about may seem to be simple school materials, but they are so much more than that. The sentence strips and sticky notes will be used to display project work, collaborative answers, and quick thoughts. Raffle tickets are great to pass out as students are answering questions in class. Dry erase markers and boards are great fun to use when working and answering questions in every single subject! We also need paper and laminating sheets to create group activities. One of the most exciting products is the microphone. What an amazing tool to encourage whole group share, AND to allow our quiet kiddos to participate.
Being able to incorporate these materials on a daily basis in our classroom is a guarantee that students will become completely absorbed in their learning paths!
