My students need the Silhouette Cameo 3, replacement blade, replacement cutting mat, toolkit, tote, sketch starter kit and clear sticker paper to help them explore and show their creativity.
My students are amazing little kids with hearts of gold. They come from a very low economic background and although they are faced with challenges this does not stop them from trying their best. All they really want is to know that you care and are there for them and you believe in them! Many of them are shy at the beginning of the year but once they come out of that shell you see all kinds of personalities that you can't help but love along with their excitement to learn and grow their brains!
Seeing the smiles on their face is what makes my job the brightest!
They have shown me that their love for learning has outshined any challenges they may face in school or at home.
My Project
These materials will not only help the students but will help me plan better and more effective creating and implementing hands-on projects. It will help by using technology to create things. The students do not have many tools in their pocket so any extra tools that can help them explore and learn and be creative it what I strive to have in my classroom. By using the machine they will be able to create things that they were not able to before or with more ease. For example, making a crown for kings and queens and allowing to create it using the machine. Since they are in kindergarten I will assist them with using the machine.
My students will be able to create more especially during STEAM activities!
I know that both my students and I will benefit tremendously from this amazing machine and the extra tools. The tote will be used to carry the silhouette. The sticker paper, pen starter kit, tool kit, blade and cutting mat are extra materials that the students will use to create things in the classroom such as center games.
