My Project

My students interact with peers for more than eight hours every school day. Sometimes their peers are people they don't like or get along with very well, and while getting along is a skill, most of my students are still in the early stages of developing it. Many times they just need a break to reset and self-regulate to prevent themselves from making a bad decision.

Finding five seconds to be alone in a school building of over six hundred students is pretty impossible.

There is no alone time to be had to reset and regroup for the average student.

This project is about providing students with the ability to find silence in the classroom and self-isolate to help them achieve a feeling of calm and focus.

This project is for privacy shields and noise-canceling ear muffs.
