Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are thoughtful, kind, creative and inquisitive! They are all multi sensory learners how love hands on activities that are engaging and thought provoking. They are logging in to our classroom virtually daily and ready to do their best during these uncertain times. They re brave and are a true inspiration. They are the reason I smile daily with their adorable writing pieces and messages they leave me on a daily basis.
My Project
Please help me give my students sight word cards to help them practice and build their sight word knowledge. I also would love to continue to use materials like we do in class during our google meets, the play dough would give my students the materials they need to build their letters and sounds for word study. My students are multi sensory learners and need to use different modalities to help them learn best!
We are working on a character unit and I would love to share some Flat Stanley Books with my students who are on that reading level.
I would also love to give them alphabet, number or shape books to those students who would benefit from them to help increase their knowledge while they re learning from home. Lastly, being home and not being able to go to school, can be rough for kids. I'd love to send them a prize like they would get from my prize box. Legos would be a great treat, they can also use them to help with their word study and math like we do in the classroom. All of these supplies will help my students learn while they are at home since many of the don't have the supplies there. We sue
